Let's take this overview about Human Resources Management, which I believe is important to keep in mind before starting to seek more information about it.

In business management, human resources (HR) is the activity that employees and collaborators of an organization do, but frequently this job has the function of hiring and keeping employees or collaborators for a business. This task is performed by a personnel recruiter (Human Capital Professional) with the aid of directors of the company.

The most important task of human resources management is to keep the cohesion and unity among all personnel within the company as well as getting the maximum of capacity from each element. Like every system, the process of human resources is based on inputs, outputs and feedbacks where the input represents each employee, the output represents the performance of each element either as stand alone or as a team and the feed back are points of improvement. Also, HR has the task to pay the employees including the manager and to offer new vacant to its personnel.

Human resources managementseem to be a process without emotion and a boring activity too, but I see it as an art; it is not easy to maintain unity among all personnel where each element has different thoughts, ideas and concepts. I have seen a lot of professionals who take very lightly the process and importance of human resources. As I said before, many people believes that human resources is only related to recruitment, but that is not completely true, recruitment is just a little part of the process of human resources, the truth is that this topic goes deeper and it might take a lot of pages of information.
